Distorted Memories is Universalic's 'Debut, Double Album'. Its Set in 2 parts, The first being a more; meditative, introductory, chilled phase, which leads into part 2, a more deeper, exploratory and experimental phase.

We were all 'kids' once !
We all have Distorted Memories of our past 'lives'. Whether its a first love, or that feeling of being so connected to something that is so elusive and intangible, but we try to re-create it, into something that can at-least remind us of it or keep us in that frame. We are all fading minute-by-minute, day-by-day, becoming distorted, "these are my memories".

Its been in the mind as a concept for years, and has now seen the light. Its a new decade and a new era of fused genres are emerging, there are no limits, do what you want with your ART, at least the music should be left-free as a reflection of us; our emotions, ideas, and distant distorted memories.

The album is made up of Distorted Ambient Beats, and juxtaposed with complimentary Mellow Melodies; that reflect moods and distant-future-times. The sounds are distorted, and ripped apart. Each track is unique, but yet all have a common ground, a sense of 'nostalgia' and longing; for that place in the heart, a connection to the 'soul'.
